Information Governance and Security

When we say “Security” in Information Governance, what do we mean?

Data breaches top the list of concerns for a majority of businesses.  More security is often cited as the solution.  But what is security?  This presentation revolves around a review of the 2015 Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC’s)  “Start with Security:  A Guide to Business and the 10 areas covered under this moniker of security.”  Come discover how “security” is a major cornerstone of Information Governance, and how it closely relates to another IG pillar, Privacy.
